The newly evolved Side Chipper is a 90-degree shoulder mill. Great for machining vertical walls and aggressive ramp angles. Max. depth of cut (ap)=15mm (.060″) is possible on SSV style, and up to 99mm (3.9″) on SSVL style. This tool offers a ground insert for finish applications, as well as an uncoated polished insert for aluminum.
