The company started out as a domestic division of Kobayashi Industrial CO., LTD. and was renamed DIJET in 1954. Dijet has been using their own technology to develop tools for more than 80 years. From raw materials to the finished product, everything is proudly made in Japan to provide the highest quality tooling. In 1983 Dijet Inc was established in Plymouth, MI in order to supply the best quality carbide to North America. Starting out heavily in the automotive market place, Dijet developed cutting edge tooling for the Mold & Die industry. Now with new geometries, grades, and coatings we are able to branch out in other industries including aerospace, defence, and medical. Today, Dijet continues to bring forth innovative solutions to the metal cutting industry by reinvesting in new technologies such as grinding machines, machining centers, and coating processes.
